We believe that renewable energy should be accessible. That’s why we created Solartility Inc. in 2020. We will bring managed solar technology and access to 100% renewables to communities around the province. With our headquarters in Calgary, Solartility Canada is bringing power to the people here.
Solartility entered the Canadian scene in 2020. Within a year, we’d completed modeling for our Energy Optimizer software and became a pool participant with the Alberta Electric System Operator (AESO). In 2022, Solartility completed forecasting and pilot testing and is ready to be your green electricity supplier of choice.

Kelly Tallas
Founder and CEO
Kelly is an IT/software developer with over 20 years in the trade. He founded Solartility Canada in 2020 to transform traditional electricity services and combat greenhouse gasses. His passions are helping the environment and providing Canadians with green energy that makes sense for them.
Shayne Butcher
Co-Founder and Managing Director
Having lived his whole life in Alberta, Shayne provides a background in construction and recycling, with extensive experience in business development and economics. He is a hands-on entrepreneur with a passion for people and relationships.
Mission
To provide clean energy at an affordable rate to save Albertan's money and reduce our carbon footprint in a realistic and sustainable way.
Vision
To resolve critical environmental issues while providing Albertan's with quality service and affordable energy. Our vision: expand solar power capacity in Canada and, as a company, contribute 0.5% of Canada’s Paris Agreement carbon reduction targets by 2035.
